We Met at Automechanika Istanbul 2024!

 

Automechanika Istanbul 2024, the world's leading trade fair brand in the automotive aftermarket and the largest international organization of its sector in the region covering Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East and North Africa, brought the sector together again this year. Automotive Aftersales Products and Services Association (OSS), the umbrella organization of the automotive aftermarket in Turkey, left its mark on the organization held at Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center between 23-26 May 2024 in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Hannover Fairs Turkey.

The 9th International 9th OSS Conference, which was held on Thursday, May 23rd with the theme of "The Future of Automotive Aftermarket in the World and Turkey", hosted 4 valuable speakers. Alex MUNGIURI, Middle East and Africa Regional President of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, moderated the conference and the speakers were Ingo REIFF, General Manager of Global One Automotive, Guenter WEBER, President & CEO of Groupauto International and Warren ESPİNOZA, CEO of ATR International AG. Speaking at the closing of the conference, OSS Secretary General Emirhan Silahtaroğlu thanked all participants and the audience.

Following the conference, members had the opportunity to get together and chat at the cocktail party organized at the OSS Lounge, which is at the service of OSS members.

On Friday, May 24, several panels were organized within the scope of Automechanika Istanbul Academy. The program started with the Importance of Brand Protection in Maintenance and Repair and Recent Legal Developments Panel organized by the OSS Association Brand Protection Working Group at 11:00 on Friday, May 24, and continued with the Sustainable Mobility and Technology Panel organized by the Mobility, Technology and Sustainability Working Group at 14:30. In the equality 4 business panel organized within the scope of Automechanika Academy and supported by OSS Association Balancing at Work Working Group and TAYSAD, moderators and speakers gave information about women employment and equal opportunities in the sector.

Automechanika Istanbul 2024 was visited by 60,283 buyers with 1450 exhibitors from 35 countries and 12 country pavilions. Turkey's largest international trade fair Automechanika Istanbul, which witnessed an intense participation in the subheadings of total number of exhibitors, number of international exhibitors, total number of visitors and total exhibition area, will be held again next year between June 12-15, 2025 at Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.
